Zoom and pan a photo
You can make editing photos more precise and convenient by zooming, scrolling, or rotating images using keyboard shortcuts, different controls, and gestures in Photomator.
Zoom in and out of a photo
Do any of the following:
Zoom in: Pinch two fingers apart.
Zoom out: Pinch two fingers together.
Zoom to fit: Double-tap the photo.
Zoom to actual size: Double-tap the photo two times.
Use gestures to zoom
Zoom in: Pinch two fingers apart.
Zoom out: Pinch two fingers together.
Zoom to fit: Double-tap the photo.
Zoom to actual size: Double-tap the photo two times.
Use keyboard shortcuts to zoom
Zoom in: Press
Command ⌘++(plus sign) on your keyboard.Zoom out: Press
Command ⌘+-(minus sign) on your keyboard.Zoom to fit:
Command ⌘+0(zero)Zoom to actual size:
Option ⌥+Command ⌘+0(zero)
Scroll to zoom
Press and hold the Option ⌥ key and scroll using your trackpad or mouse.
You can also double-click the Zoom slider in the toolbar to fit the image into the Photomator window or double-click the photo directly to view it at its original size.

Use trackpad gestures to zoom
Zoom in: Pinch two fingers apart.
Zoom out: Pinch two fingers together.
Pan a photo
When zoomed in on a photo, swipe with one finger to pan it.
When zoomed in on a photo, click and drag to pan it, or swipe on the Magic Mouse or trackpad.
If Clone, Crop, or Repair tools are selected:
Swipe on the Magic Mouse or trackpad.
Shift ⇧-scroll to pan left or right.
