Photomator automatically saves your edits as you jump from photo to photo and allows you to quickly share or export photos.

Save your edited photos

Once you're finished editing your image, tap or click Done to close it and save edits. You can also swipe left or right or use filmstrip to quickly select the next photo to edit – your edits will be saved automatically.

All the edits will remain editable and you'll be able to tweak them whenever you open the photo. You'll find the photos containing edits marked with badge in the photo library or filmstrip.

Nondestructive editing is the default in Photomator. If you want to disable preserving changes or stop saving edits to iCloud, you can do so in the Photomator settings.

Share photos

  1. Do one of the following:

    • Touch and hold a photo in the library or filmstrip and choose Share.

    • Open a photo, tap More in the toolbar at the top of the screen, then tap Share.

  2. Choose how you want to share a photo. You can AirDrop it, send it via Messages or email, save it to a folder on your device or to your Photos library, copy, print it, and more.

  1. Choose a photo you want to share.

  2. Do one of the following:

    • Choose File > Share from the File menu at the top of your screen.

    • Control ⌃-click a photo in the library or filmstrip and choose Share.

  3. Choose how you want to share a photo. You can AirDrop it, send it via Messages or email, save it to your Photos library, or open in other apps.

When sharing a photo, a JPEG copy is exported at 85% quality by default. You can change the default shared image quality in the Photomator settings.
