The Color Balance lets you selectively adjust the colors in an image's shadows, midtones, and highlights. Working with colors in the shadows, midtones, and highlights separately allows endless variations to bring your image a unique look, mood, and feel.
There are two options for adjusting color balance manually — color wheels (a Master wheel and 3-Way Color wheels) and sliders, available from the adjustment menu.
Tap Color Adjustments in the toolbar and turn on Color Balance.
Do any of the following:
Adjust colors automatically: Tap ML next to Color Balance. After doing this, you can additionally fine-tune the adjustment sliders.
Adjust color balance using sliders: Tap the name of the Color Balance adjustment and choose Show Sliders, then select the tonal range you’d like to edit. Drag the Red/Cyan, Green/Magenta, and Yellow/Blue sliders to add to one color (while subtracting from the other).
Adjust color balance using Color Wheels: Tap the name of the Color Balance adjustment and choose Show 3-Way Colors. Color Wheels lets you add color tints to the shadows, midtones, and highlights individually.
Adjust color balance using Master Colors: Tap the name of the Color Balance adjustment and choose Master Colors. The Master Colors wheel adds a color tint to the entire image.
