Watermarks and frames

Photomator allows you to add solid color, film, and other customizable frames to your photos, and easily protect them with watermarks by adding custom text, logos, images, or using built-in watermarking presets.

To access the frame and watermark features, open the Export settings.

Export photos with frames

Open the Export window, select a frame, then tap or click Next to choose where you want to save the photos with frames.

Frames are currently supported only on Mac, but they will soon be available on iPhone and iPad. You can find more upcoming features in the Photomator roadmap.

Photomator remembers the last settings you used to export your photos. You can reset the default Frame settings by clicking Reset or double-clicking any individual slider.

Export watermarked photos

Open the Export window, select a watermarking preset, then tap or click Next to choose where you want to save the watermarked photos.

  1. In the export window, enable the Watermark feature. If the Watermark feature is not visible, ensure you have selected a format other than the Photomator Document.

  2. Tap Text if you want to add a text watermark to your photo. Change the text color, font, size, opacity, and position, or add a shadow using the sliders below.

  3. Tap Image to add an image or logo as a watermark. Tap Choose Image, then choose if you want to add an image from Photos or Files. You can also customize the image watermark by changing the size, opacity, and position, or add a shadow using the settings below.

  4. With both text and image watermarks, you can enable the Tile setting to create a repeating pattern across the photo. You can adjust the spacing and angle of the pattern using the sliders below.

Photomator remembers the last settings you used to export your photos. You can reset the default Watermark settings by clicking Reset or double-clicking any individual slider.
