Photomator offers a variety of Crop presets that allow you to freely resize the crop box, choose from available aspect ratios, or create a new crop preset by entering a custom aspect ratio. You have the freedom to manage the Crop presets as you like — you can add new custom presets or remove the ones you no longer use.
Apply a crop preset
Tap Crop in the toolbar at the top of the screen.
If a different crop mode is selected, tap Crop.
To view presets, tap at the bottom of the screen.
Do any of the following:
Resize the crop box freely: In the Presets bar tap None, then drag the crop box handles to adjust it.
Crop a photo to a set aspect ratio: Scroll the Presets bar and tap any of the available presets to crop your photo to a specific aspect ratio.
Crop a photo to a custom aspect ratio: Scroll to the end of the Presets bar to find a Custom preset. Tap it to enter a custom crop aspect ratio. You can tap Add to save it as a custom crop preset.
Choose the Crop tool by doing one of the following:
Tap Crop in the toolbar at the top of the screen.
Press C on your keyboard.
If a different crop mode is selected, tap the crop mode button and choose Crop.
To view presets, tap at the bottom of the screen or press X on your keyboard.

Crop a photo to a set aspect ratio: Scroll the Presets bar and tap any of the available presets to crop your photo to a specific aspect ratio.
Crop a photo to a custom aspect ratio: Scroll to the end of the Presets bar to find a Custom preset. Tap it to enter a custom crop aspect ratio. You can tap Add to save it as a custom crop preset.
Choose the Crop tool by doing one of the following:
Tap Crop in the toolbar at the top of the screen.
Choose Tools > Crop from the Tools menu at the top of your screen.
Press C on your keyboard.
To view presets, tap the Aspect Ratio pop-up menu at the top of the Crop tool options pane.
Do any of the following:
Resize the crop box freely: Choose Freeform, then drag the crop box handles to adjust it.
Crop a photo to a set aspect ratio: Choose any of the available aspect ratios to crop your photo to a specific size.
Crop a photo to a custom aspect ratio: Click Custom, then enter a custom crop aspect ratio. You can tap Add + to save it as a custom preset.
Rename a crop preset
Touch and hold the preset that you'd like to rename and tap Rename.
Enter a new name for your preset and tap Rename to confirm.
Click next to the preset that you'd like to rename and click Rename.
Enter a new name for your preset and press Return ↵ on your keyboard to confirm.
Delete a crop preset
Touch and hold the preset that you'd like to rename and tap Delete.
Tap Delete to confirm.
Click next to the preset that you'd like to rename and click Remove.
If you'd like to reset the default Photomator presets, click next to any preset and while holding Option choose Reset All.
When you reset the default Photomator presets, any custom presets you have created will be deleted.
Rearrange the crop presets
If you use some of the crop presets more often than others, you may want to rearrange them for quicker access.
Touch and hold a crop preset until it starts to hover and drag it to the desired place in the Presets bar.
