Auto Enhance

With the machine learning-powered Auto Enhance tool, you can automatically improve the light and color of any photo. Trained on millions of image pairs — one with bad exposure, contrast, or colors, and the other professionally edited — it applies a balanced mix of color adjustments to make your photos look their best.

Auto Enhance adjusts the light and contrast, white balance, hue & saturation, color balance, and selective colors in a photo. You can see all the changes Auto Enhance makes in each of those adjustments and, if you feel like it, you can always fine-tune them yourself.

Open the photo you'd like to enhance.
Tap Auto Enhance at the top of the screen.

You can tap in the toolbar to compare the photos before and after automatically enhancing them.

To turn off Auto Enhance for all adjustments, tap Auto Enhance again.

To turn Auto Enhance off for individual adjustments, tap ML next to the adjustment.

Open the photo you'd like to enhance.
Do one of the following:
- Tap Auto Enhance at the top of the screen.
- Press Command ⌘ + M on your keyboard.

You can tap in the toolbar to compare photos before and after automatically enhancing them.

To turn off Auto Enhance for all adjustments, tap Auto Enhance again.

To turn Auto Enhance off for individual adjustments, tap ML next to the adjustment.

Open the photo you'd like to enhance.
Do one of the following:
- Click Auto Enhance at the top of the screen.
- Choose Tools > Auto Enhance from the Tools menu at the top of the screen.
- Press Command ⌘ + Shift ⇧ + M on your keyboard.

You can click and hold Compare in the toolbar to compare the photos before and after automatically enhancing them, or Option ⌥ - click it to turn on the comparison slider.

To turn off Auto Enhance for all adjustments, click again.

To turn Auto Enhance off for individual adjustments, tap ML next to the adjustment.
