How to find a Photomator crash report

This article explains how to find a Photomator crash report on your devices.

On iPhone or iPad

Open the Settings app

Go to the Settings app on your iPhone or iPad, then, go to Privacy & Security > Analytics & Improvements > Analytics Data.

Find the crash report

Scroll down the Data list to find the Photomator crash. It will start with "Photomator-" and end with an .ips extension.

Share the crash report with us

Tap to open the crash report, then tap the Share button in the top left, choose Mail, and send them to us via our Contact Form.

On Mac

Open Spotlight

To open Spotlight, click the magnifying glass icon in the upper-right corner of the menu bar, or press Command-Space from any app.

Find the Console app

After opening Spotlight, type the word 'Console' and press the Return key.

Find a crash report

On the left side of the Console window, click to choose the Crash Reports category. A Photomator crash will start with the word 'Photomator'. Click to select it.

If there aren't any crash reports for Photomator, this means it did not quit unexpectedly but may have stopped responding. In that case, you may be able to find a spin report in the Spin Reports category.

Send the crash report to the Pixelmator Team

In the Console toolbar, click Share and choose the Mail app. In the email, include any other relevant information, like what made Photomator crash. Send us the crash report via our Contact Form.
