Combing Two Photos

I am embarrassed to ask this because it must be really basic stuff but here goes: I have a photo of a train and I have a different photo of a mountain scene. I want to lift the train out of the first photo and put it into the second photo. I have removed all of the background from the train but I can not make the images form a decent picture. I can not seem to adjust the layers so that the train looks "right" in the mountain scene. Never mind perspective for the moment, I just want to be able to adjust the size of either or both images so that the result looks right. Suggestions please before my wife beats me up.

Hi Fred,
If you are talking about using the Ipad version for this, I feel your pain. I can find tutorials for doing this with the mac version, doing this with the ipad version of photoshop, but not the ipad version of pixelmator.
This seems to be a basic feature.
