Pressure

So I use a tablet with Pixelmator and it is no longer picking up the pressure in my pen. Im on the newest updates.
The brushes don't work at all when I raise the pressure, they only work with no pressure at all. I have checked with my tablet and it has nothing to do with my pen. It has been working fine on other programs

Thanks for mentioning this. I'm moving this to the bugs forums.
Can you by any chance mention the type of tablet, OS X version, Pixelmator version and mac specs?
This way the team might be able to help you out better.

Hey kaylindash,

May I ask what's the manufacturer and the model of the tablet you're using?

I'm having the same or very similar issue (not 100% sure) -

My first touch on tablet registers with the brush tool (including pressure sensitivity) but then it forgets the pen is there and does nothing. So I can only paint in dots.. pressing very lightly has the effect of it vaguely working.

I believe this problem started following a wacom update yesterday,..

Tablet: Wacom Intuos PT S
OS X: 10.11.5, El Capitan
Pixelmator: 3.5, Canyon
Mac spec:2.9 GHz Intel Core i5,8 GB 1867 MHz DDR3,Intel Iris Graphics 6100 1536 MB

We've seen similar issues occurring for multiple users after updating to the latest Wacom tablet drivers. Could you by any chance try rolling back to a previous version drivers and give it a try then?

Same problem here. Guess I'll do some sculpting in Blender while waiting for an update from you.

I have the exact same issue. Brushes only work when Pressure under "Radius" is set around 0-9%.And even there pressure doesn't seem to affect the size of the brush.Above 10% it paints only a dot.

I can confirm that using the outdated Wacom Mac 6.3.15-3 drivers successfully worked around this issue for me.

OS X 10.10.5

Pixelmator 3.5

Wacom Intuos Comic

rMBP late 2013
2.3 GHz i7
16 GB 1600 MHz DDR3
NVIDIA GeForce GT 750M 2048MB

I had to navigate to http://www.wacom.com/en-us/support/intuos-support and then select "view older drivers" on the "Drivers for current Intuos" grouping. See https://monosnap.com/file/OBwSV2B3rm54M ... kO3XeD5DdK
