In the help file (http://help.pixelmator.com/mac/3.4/#42) it says that

Info labels appear next to the pointer and show the following useful information, depending on the tool in use:

- The size of the elliptical or rectangular selection drawn.- The tolerance level for the Magic Eraser, Magic Wand, and Paint Bucket tools.- RGB or HEX values when dragging with the Eyedropper tool active.- Dimensions, such as the size, angle, and coordinates for the Crop, Slice, and Transform tools.- The angle or radius for the Gradient tool.- The position of a guide when adding it.

The "Show Information Labels" is turned on in my prefs, yet info labels are not showing up for:

- The size of the elliptical or rectangular selection drawn
- Dimensions, such as the size, angle, and coordinates for the Crop, Slice, and Transform tools.- The angle or radius for the Gradient tool.

PS: Why is this forum is completely black and the help file is white!? Have you tried switching in between them? This is an awful reading experience!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hey pentool,

The info labels are only displayed when you have the Info Bar hidden for your Document Window (View > Hide Info Bar). Otherwise, all this information is displayed there.

The only tools, from what you've mentioned, that do not show the info labels when the Info Bar is hidden are the selection tools when you use them to draw a selection. The label does appear visible whenever transforming the already made selection, though.
