Would be nice to have a photo stitch capability. Something like Autostitch or Adobe Photomerge would be nice.

Until then, there's the open source app Hugin. They just released a new beta for Mac.

Pixelmator needs panorama feature. As a landscape/ city & architecture photographer I do several panos.
I want to limit my workflow to a couple of apps not (currently LR 5 + Pixelmator).
I don't want to add more to apps or external editing needs to my workflow.
Only reason I find myself back in PS is to merge panos.

Never thought about this feature before but sounds like it would be an amazing addition to Pixelmator.

Guys, get a real stitching-tool. The one from Ps sucks in most cases. It is bad in detecting moving people (de-ghosting) and some other things. Adding stitching to Pixelmator can only fail. There are a lot of really good stitching tools available – some cost more, some less. But they do exactly what they are developed for (and in most cases you'll get what you paid for).

And just one Example… When I create a panorama, it's made from many images and it's huge. Pixelmator is a great piece of software, but because it runs it's operations entirely on the memory of your graphics card, it can't handle huge files. And huge in my case is nothing below a Gigabyte for a Pano.
